Originally from Shropshire England, Ellie comes from a distinguished line of working Golden Retrievers. Because of this, she sports a slightly smaller, longer frame and a shorter, more practical coat that is not so fluffy. She was bred to work, specifically to retrieve birds and pheasants shot during the hunting season. However, 11 years ago, her owner successfully persuaded the breeder to let them bring her home, and she has been a part of their family ever since.
